Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Elefair International Inc. (“Elefair Tech”, “we”) handles information when you visit elefairtech.com and when you use our software, including Elefair Turbo Importer for Windows, Mac and Google Chrome (“the Software”).

1. Information we collect

When you visit our website

  • Contact messages — the name, email address and message you send us through the contact form or by email.
  • Chat messages — what you type to the assistant on our website, kept so the conversation can continue and so our team can follow up.
  • Purchase details — if you buy a license, the order details needed to deliver it. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see your full card number.
  • Basic technical data — such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and secure.

When you use the Software

  • Stored on your computer only: your settings, your Shopify access token, connected Facebook Page tokens, eBay and Google sign-in tokens, and your Google AI (Gemini) key. These are not sent to us.
  • Store chat (if you turn it on): messages your shoppers send through the chat bubble on your store, the pages they viewed and a purchase marker after checkout. Stored on the Elefair server to run the chat.
  • Broken-link reports (if you turn them on): addresses of “page not found” visits on your store, used to create redirects.
  • Order lookup (if you turn on order tracking in chat): a scrambled (hashed) form of order number and email with the order status and tracking, so a shopper who gives both can see their own order. The email itself is not stored.
  • Sign-in hand-over: when you connect Facebook or Google from the Windows or Mac app, a one-time sign-in code passes through our server and is deleted after collection or within 10 minutes.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the features you turn on — for example answering your customers, fixing broken links, or posting to your Facebook Page.
  • To reply to your messages and provide support.
  • To deliver licenses and prevent misuse.

We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use data from Facebook, Google or eBay for any purpose other than the feature you asked for.

3. Service providers

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the Elefair server (store chat, broken-link reports, sign-in hand-over).
  • Google LLC (Gemini API) — generates AI replies. The text of a customer message, relevant product facts and any photos or PDFs in the conversation are sent to Google to write the reply, using the API key you provide.
  • Platforms you connect — Shopify, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google (Search Console, YouTube) and eBay receive the actions you ask the Software to perform, under their own privacy policies.

4. How long we keep data

  • Store-chat conversations: deleted automatically 45 days after the last message (you can delete them sooner in the Software).
  • Purchase markers after checkout: 30 days.
  • Broken-link reports: 60 days.
  • Order lookup table: replaced as your orders update and deleted after 7 days without an update.
  • One-time sign-in codes: 10 minutes or less.
  • Contact messages and support emails: as long as needed to help you and for our records.

5. Your choices and rights

  • Disconnect any platform from inside the Software at any time, or uninstall the Software to remove all locally stored data.
  • Ask us to access, correct or delete information about you — see Data Deletion Instructions.
  • Residents of California, the EU, the UK and other regions may have additional rights under local law; we honor them on request.

6. Security

All connections use HTTPS. Secrets for shared sign-in apps are kept on our server and never sent to your computer. See Security.

7. Children

Our software and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes are announced on this page.
